Thanks for registering for your Advanced Driving Skills Course. Here is everything you need to know in preparation for your course:

  1. The course will be held at the NASA Crows Landing Airport and Test Facility in Patterson, California.
  2. We will meet you at the entrance gate at 07:45 hrs to guide you to where the course will start. (The location might vary due to track events)
  3. You will receive a link shortly to the online part of the training. This is required before your training. It’s only two hours, but you can do it at your own pace and in your own time.
  4. You don’t need to bring anything; we will take care of everything at the track; coffee, snacks, and beverages will be available during the day, and Lunch will be catered on both days. Please let us know if you have a special meal request (i.e., Vegetarian, Vegan, etc.) we will do our best to accommodate you.
  5. You don’t need to bring anything special, comfortable clothes, low shoes (no high-heels) and sunglasses are encouraged.

Requirements (As per track’s request):

  1. This is an advanced driving course; all attendants must know how to operate a motor vehicle before going through this course.
  2. All drivers are required to present a valid driver’s license.
  3. The track authority requires that all drivers sign a disclaimer.
  4. Please don’t drink alcoholic beverages 24 hours before training.

Lodging:

Accommodations are available in the city of Patterson, CA, less than 15 miles away from the track. Let us take care of everything! Get our courtesy package, and we will make all the necessary arrangements for you.

This only applies to the courses done in Grand Junction, CO, but we have many options throughout the year. If you would like to use your VA benefits for other courses outside of Colorado, you would have to talk to your VA Office and ask them to submit payment to us; we have done so many times.
Absolutely we'd be happy to have them, we just need to know in advance to notify the hotel. Your companion is also welcome to come to the track as an observer, no additional fees are required.
No! We will have lunch catered to the track. At the beginning of the day, you will receive a menu to choose from. At the track, you'll find water, coffee, and snacks throughout the day. Please contact us if you require a special kind of meal (e.g., vegan, gluten-free, etc.). We'll try our best to accommodate any requests.

Yes, you can! but we strongly advise against using your own vehicle for all the exercises since it will put more stress in the car than it was designed to endure on a single day. If you want to do some exercises on your own vehicle after we are done you may do so, and that way you'll feel the equivalence of what you did during the day on your everyday car.
No, we provide vehicles with tires that can be destroyed through the training.
