I’m not a Security Driver, can I still benefit from taking this course?
Pablo2024-08-07T11:23:13-07:00Yes, you can definitely benefit from taking our Security Driver course even if you are not a professional security driver. Our course focuses on the fundamental skills and techniques of vehicle control, which are applicable to all drivers regardless of their profession. By going through our methodology of experimentation and skill building, you will learn how to control a vehicle better than 60% of the population.
Moreover, our course will also help you develop better reaction skills. In the event of an accident or any other road incident, quick reflexes and the ability to stay calm under pressure are crucial. Our course will teach you how to handle emergency situations and make split-second decisions while behind the wheel. These skills are important not only for security drivers but also for all drivers who want to be prepared for any unexpected situations on the road.
We focus on teaching our students the proper techniques for accelerating, braking, and turning, which are essential for safe and efficient driving. Pablo2024-08-07T11:24:39-07:00Yes, you can. AS3 is now an approved vendor for the G.I. Bill via ESI (Executive Security International). Please call (970) 242 9004 to learn about your options. This only applies to the courses done in Grand Junction, CO, but we have many options throughout the year. If you would like to use your VA benefits for other courses outside of Colorado, you would have to talk to your VA Office and ask them to submit payment to us; we have done so many times.

Do I need to bring food?

At the track, you'll find water, coffee, and snacks throughout the day. Please contact us if you require a special kind of meal (e.g., vegan, gluten-free, etc.). We'll try our best to accommodate any requests.
Can you help with accommodations?

Can I bring my own car?
Pablo2024-05-15T15:20:59-07:00Yes, you can! but we strongly advise against using your own vehicle for all the exercises since it will put more stress in the car than it was designed to endure on a single day. If you want to do some exercises on your own vehicle after we are done you may do so, and that way you'll feel the equivalence of what you did during the day on your everyday car.
