Improving tactical skills through objective skill evaluations.
Designed with the Team Manager in mind and based on an international standard by IBSSA, AS3’s reports are performed through the most advanced telemetry systems that ensure consistent and objective evaluation by not being subject to human interpretation at all.
These performance reports provide you with accurate, detailed information about the security driver’s performance throughout the course. Our professional instructors determine proficiency by the driver’s ability to control the car in relation to its physical limits.
This enables them to determine skill levels and to push students to their limit always thriving to outperform the international standard of 80% of the car’s capabilities (as measured in Gs) through stress-filled drills. Our computers, the most advanced within the industry, are exact to 0.1 seconds and 0.1 m/h.
“Computers can measure what the human eye can’t see.”
Why is a "Standard" so important?
According to the Society of Automotive Engineers, most drivers use only 40% of a car’s capability (as measured in lateral acceleration). As they go beyond that, the vehicle no longer responds as the driver expects, and this is the most common cause why drivers lose control.
Through AS3 training, drivers learn how to recognize the limits of a vehicle and anticipate every situation without ever losing control. By the end of their training, they have the ability to push the car to the edge of its limits and anticipate its reactions –enough skill to comfortably control at least 80% of a vehicle’s capability.
In our courses, drivers will be trained to exceed, first, their limitations and then the predefined “standard.”
Every driver gets a computer-generated report comparing their progress throughout the course to this “standard” and all their peers to gain explicit knowledge of their strengths and weaknesses and a real-life understanding of what will happen when a situation presents itself.
