Advanced [Counter-Ambush]
Driving Course
The only security driver program with real-time onboard telemetry. Every exercise is measured to ensure you are using above 80% of the vehicle's capabilities. This is how skills are created, not assumed.
Real-Time Measured Performance
Most driver training certifies completion, not capability. An instructor watches, makes a judgment, issues a certificate. There is no measurement of what percentage of the vehicle's capability the driver actually used.
This course is different. Onboard telemetry systems measure every exercise in real-time, ensuring two things: that the forces applied resemble real-world conditions, and that each student is using above 80% of the vehicle's capabilities throughout every exercise.
This is how skills are forced into existence. Not assumed. Not estimated. Measured.
Online Training
Before arrival
Theory and fundamentals via EP Access. Complete at your own pace before track day.
Track Day 1
Foundation exercises
Slalom, Threat Avoidance, Braking/Cornering, Understeer/Oversteer exposure.
Track Day 2
Advanced applications
Reverse dynamics, Bailout maneuvers, Combined skills, Measured performance runs.

Online Training Included
We have evolved to maximize your time at the track. All classroom content has migrated to a hybrid learning experience, granting four more hours of hands-on training on the tarmac.
Knowledge is essential. Without it, incomplete skills disappear fast from your brain. You need to make sense of what you are doing behind the wheel for the right mindset to be created.
We have partnered with EP Access to create a virtual classroom with self-assessment forms you can access at your own pace. Every student must complete all virtual training before coming to the track.

Seven Measured Exercises
Each exercise is measured through onboard telemetry. The international standard requires drivers to demonstrate control at 80% of the vehicle's capability. We verify this in real-time.
Slalom
Time-distance calibration. How far the vehicle travels during steering input.
Threat Avoidance
React to visual threat. Decision-making from recognition, not analysis.
Braking & Cornering
ABS engagement at full threshold. Steering under maximum deceleration.
Under/Oversteer
EasyDrift DTS induces controlled loss of grip. Build recognition for early intervention.
Reverse Slalom
Vehicle handling degrades in reverse. Understand degraded dynamics.
Reverse Bailout
Get the vehicle facing forward from blocked situations. Emergency extraction.
Combined Skills
All elements under time pressure. Stress inoculation. Final measured runs.
Onboard Telemetry
Onboard telemetry systems measure every aspect of vehicle behavior during each exercise. Speed, lateral acceleration, steering input, and vehicle position are captured continuously.
This ensures two things: that the forces applied accurately mirror real-world situations, and that each student is maintaining control at the vehicle's limits, all rated against the 80% international standard.
At course completion, each participant receives an individual performance report. This data lets security managers identify which team members demonstrated capability based on evidence, not assumption.

Level II: Accelerated Training
The Accelerated [Counter-Ambush] Driving program is our Level II course for graduates of this foundational program. It goes beyond skill sustainment into more complex vehicle control techniques.
Advanced maneuvers, higher performance thresholds, and scenarios that require integrating multiple skills under pressure. This is where capable drivers become exceptional ones.
Available at all training locations. Open enrollment and private team sessions.

Common Questions
Do I need prior training to enroll?
No. This is AS3's Level I program and the entry point for security drivers. It assumes no previous track training. Online modules cover the theory before you arrive, and every exercise on track builds from foundations.
Is this course suitable for new security staff?
Yes. This is where new protection drivers start. Teams regularly enroll new hires here to build a measured baseline, then send them to the Accelerated Level II program as they advance. Executives and family members who are not security professionals should look at the Evasive Driving & Accident Avoidance course instead.
How long is the course and what does it cost?
Online preparation at your own pace, then 2 full days on track. Current pricing and locations are listed with each date above.
What comes after Level I?
The Accelerated [Counter-Ambush] Driving Program, our Level II course. It is open only to graduates of this program and moves into more complex vehicle control at higher performance thresholds.
Do you teach PIT maneuvers, ramming, or J-turns?
No. Impact-based maneuvers are obsolete: modern vehicles carry Advanced Driver Assistance Systems that shut down engines after a collision, deploy airbags, and actively brake and steer against the driver's intent, and disabling those systems is illegal. We teach the high-intensity skills with real-world application: skid control and recovery, ambush and barricade avoidance, and reverse break-out techniques for escaping a blocked position.
The question is not whether your team can handle normal driving conditions. The question is whether they have ever experienced the conditions where normal responses fail.
What model would they default to if recognition failed today?
